• Major responsibilities of Applications Engineers are for supporting KLA-Tencor's wafer inspection products.They would be involved with development & characterization of next generation wafer inspection products. They would interact with the customer on a face to face basis with the customer to demonstrate product performance, both in-house (at Milpitas, USA campus) and at customer facilities (at various locations worldwide).
• Applications Engineers would also be responsible to prove technical superiority of KLA-Tencor  tools over competitor's tools at customer sites.
• They would be working closely with many organizations, including engineering, marketing and software teams within KLA-Tencor and with customer engineers outside KLA-Tencor.
