AP Excise Constables Recruitment 2012 Application Form for 2500 Posts : 1.The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to issues recruitment notification for the posts of Excise Constables in AP Excise Department. It is estimated that about 2500 Excise Constable posts are vacant across various districts in Andhra Pradesh. The aspiring candidates are eagerly waiting for the notification from APPSC or AP Police Recruitment Board.

2.Meanwhile, the APPSC has sent the list of qualified candidates for the posts of Assistant Excise Superintendent (AES) to Excise department. The qualified candidates are likely to join in duties in a few days. There are 99 AES posts across the state. Out of these 25 posts are vacant and 14 candidates are going to join through APPSC recruitment.

3.Recruitment of Excise Constables has been in pending for a long time. The APPSC is yet to receive orders from the Government to fill these posts and formulate the guidelines for the same. Meanwhile, Police Recruitment Board is gearing up for the recruitment of Constables and SI posts in a phased manner.

4.Excise Constable Recruitment IMPORTANT DATES :
The District Selection Committee will issue recruitment notification on: 15.11.2011
Last date for receipt of applications: 30.11.2011.
The Preliminary Qualifying Test will commence from: 7.12.2011
Physical Efficiency Test will be held from: 27.12.2011
Written examination (objective types) will be held on: 29.1.2012.
