1.Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Facilities(BARC) Kalpakkam, has announced the notification for recruitment in 2012 the post of trainees Stipendiary (Cat II) to apply for candidates under OBC drive. Special Committee. Age of applicant should not be less than 18 years and maximum 25 years as at 26-12-2011.
2.Applicant's height should be minimum160 cms and weight must be 45.5 Kgs. Relaxations apply. Duration of training period is two years. Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs.6200 per month for 1st year and Rs.7200 per month for 2nd year in the training. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:
a) Plant Operator: 10 posts.
Qualification: Applicants should have HSC (10+2) in Science stream with at least 60 percent marks in aggregate.
They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.
b) Basic Science (Health Physics) : 08 posts.
Qualification: Same as above.
c) Mill Wright : 08 posts.
Qualifications: Candidates should have HSC with at least 60 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.
Candidates with SSC with at least 60 percent marks in aggregate along with ITI / NCVT in Mill Wright Mechanic / Instrumentation trade are also eligible. The ITI / NCVT qualification should be of 2 years duration or ITI of one year plus one year relevant experience.
d) Instrumentation: 10 posts.
Qualification is same as above.
3.Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in Written Examination. This will consist of objective objective type multiple choice questions.
4.The syllabus for the written examination will be based on subjects at SSC / HSC / ITI level. Those qualified in Written Examination will be called for interviews. Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed proforma of application available on the BARC website at www.barc.gov.in . Last date for receipt of applications is 15-03-2012.
