Educational Qualifications:

1. For TST: Applicants should be graduates in any discipline.
2. For MST: Candidates should have Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of AP. Candidates having higher qualifications such as BE OR B.Tech. OR AMIE in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering disciplines also eligible to apply. Age must be between 18- 25 years as on 01-07-2011 for all posts. Age is relaxable for reserved candidates and Ex- Servicemen as per rules.

Selection Procedure consist of Objective Type Written Examination and Interview. Weightage will be given to marks in qualifying degree, higher qualification and achievement in NCC / Sports. Selected candidates will be on training for 1 year with the stipend of Rs. 9280 per month. After the completion of training , they will be appointed as Deputy Superintendent (Traffic) OR Deputy Superintendent (Mechanical) in the scale of Rs. 9280 - 23780.

Application Procedure: Eligible candidates have to apply online only and should take a print out of the application form along with Reference ID for any future reference. Departmental candidates also need to apply online only. All applicants must pay Rs. 175 towards application fee. General Category candidates have to pay another Rs. 200 towards Examination Fee if applying for any one post. They need to pay Rs. 400 if applying for both TST and MST posts. Reserved candidates need not pay examination fee.

You should pay the fee at any AP Online Centers and should take receipt along with Journal Number. After paying the fee, you have to log on to the website www.apsrtc.gov.in and click on 'Apply Online' which will redirect you to apsrtc.cgg.gov.in . You can go through user guide and apply as per the procedure mentioned there.

Important Dates:
1. Starting date of payment of fee at AP Online Centers:18-01-2012
2. Starting date for filling Online application: 19-01-2012
3. Last date for payment of fee at AP Online centers: 04-02-2012 till 5 PM.
4. Last date for uploading of application: 06-02-2012 till 5 PM.
