APPSC Fisheries Development Officers Recruitment 2012 Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) No regular recruitment advertising in the AP under the Fisheries Service in the Agriculture Development Recruitment Notification for 2011-2012 were announced by officials of the posts. 23/2011. From 18/02/2012 to 20/01/2012 www.apspsc.gov.in available for candidates interested in a website can apply online in the prescribed proforma. Candidates for the AP online centers or by SBI Branches should pay the fee on or before 16/02/2012.
Fisheries Development Officer in AP Fisheries Service: 35 posts. Applicants age should be between 18-34 years as on 01-07-2011. Age relaxations apply as per the rules. Scale of Pay is Rs. 14860 - 39540. Details of community, zone, and gender wise vacancies also available on the website. Qualifications: Applicants should have Bachelor of Fisheries Science in B.F.Sc. from
any recognized University of India.

The Written Examination will be held at Hyderabad only on 04/03/2012. This is a tentative date fixed by APPSC. Written test consist of two papers. The exam will be for a total of 450 marks. Following are details:

Paper-1 - General Studies and Mental Ability: 150 Marks - 150 Minutes - 150 Questions
Paper-2 - Subject : 300 Marks - 150 Minutes - 150 Questions.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written examination. Minimum qualifying marks for selection are 40 percent for OCs, 35 percent for BCs and 30 percent for SC and ST candidates.
