APPSC Assistant Directors in A.P Town Planning Services 2012  AP Town and country planning services to the candidate's recruitment for the posts of Assistant Directors 2012 - Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Hyderabad notification was issued in 2011. Qualified candidates may apply online through the prescribed application form www.apspsc.gov.in Online application window opens on 04-05-2012 to 04-06-2012. Followings are details of number of posts, age, qualifications and application procedure:

Assistant Director in A.P. Town and Country Planning Service: 35 posts. Applicants age should be between 18-34 years as on 01/07/2011. Selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay scale of Rs. 10,845 - 25,600. Educational Qualifications: Applicants should posses B.Arch. or B.E. (Civil) or M.A. (Geography) and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town and Country Planning.

Selection of the candidate will be based on the Written Examination to be conducted on 22-07-2012 at Hyderabad only. Written examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. There will be two papers for 450 marks in the exams as described below:

1) Paper 1: General Studies and Mental ability : 150 - Marks - 150 Questions - 150 Minutes
2) Paper 2: Subject: Town Planning : 300 Marks - 150 Questions - 150 Minutes

Interested candidates can apply online after paying the fee through AP Online centers or SBI branches.
