UPSC Online Hall Tickets Download 2012- Admission Certificates for Prelims
1.Candidates interested in applying for Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2012 should apply online only through www.upsconline.nic.in . Candidates can also download e-Admission Certificates (Hall Tickets / Admit Cards) from www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in. UPSC has come up with a record number of 1037 vacancies in Civil Services Examination 2012. The latest notification, popular among the candidates as CSAT 2012, mentioned that as many as 1037 posts will be filled through Civil Services 2012 Examinations. Details of IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other posts are awaited.

2.Last date for the submission of online applications for Civils Prelims 2012 is 11.59 p.m. on March 5, 2012. You can obtain more details from UPSC Civils Prelims / CSAT Notification 2012. The link for online application on www.upsconline.nic.in will be disabled after 12 midnight on 5th March 2012. The Preliminary (CSAT 2012) Examination will be held on 20th May 2012.

3.The experts feel that this is the highest number of vacancies notified in the last decade in Civil Services Recruitment. It is estimated that out of 1037, a large number of vacancies will be in the Indian Police Service and the Group- A services. The more number of posts also increases the chances of the candidates hence candidates should prepare according to the exam scheme and changes if any and should focus on appearing for these exams. UPSC has also proposed several changes to the Prelims and Main Examinations from 2012.

4.Candidates will be issued an e-Admission Certificates through www.upsc.gov.in only. The e-Admission Certificates will be issued three weeks before the commencement of the Civil Services examination. Candidates can also download the hall tickets / admission cards / e-admission certificates. UPSC will not send any hall tickets by post.
