1.APPSC has released notification to recruit 2012 posts of Assistant Architectural Draughtsman in AP Town Planning Subordinate Service and Surveyors in AP Town Planning Subordinate Service. Applicants selected will be appointed in the wages of Rs 9,460 to 27,700 between 18-36 years of age who should be 07/01/2011 Applicants must apply through the APPSC website at www. 05/03/2012 to 04/05/2012 apspsc.gov.in the fee should be paid on or before 03/04/2012 through AP online centers or branches of the SBI. Here are the details of the post, qualifications and application process:
a) Assistant Architectural Draughtsman in A.P. Town Planning Subordinate Service: 32 posts
b) Surveyors in A.P. Town Planning Subordinate Service: 49 posts
2.Eligibility for both the posts: Applicants must have passed 10th Class examination and should possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering duly recognized by A.P. Board of Technical Education or I.S.E. Diploma or any other equivalent qualification. Candidates with Draughtsmanship (Civil) course conducted by the Industrial Training Institute of Government of A.P. are also eligible. OR Those who have passed all India Trade Test for Surveyor course of ITI with experience in Town Planning or Engineering or Survey for at least 1 year are also can apply.
The Written Examination for the above posts will be held on 12/05/2012. There will be objective type written test which consists of two papers. These are:
a) Paper 1: General Studies (SSC Standard): 150 questions - 150 marks - 150 minutes
b) Paper 2: Subject (Intermediate Vocational Standard): 150 questions - 150 marks - 150 minutes
