1.APPSC, Hyderabad Online applications are invited for the post from 24 in AP Economics and Statistical Service. Applicants should apply online between March 12, 2012 and April 12, 2012 through online applications APPSC website.apspsc.gov.in.

2.Assistant Director in A.P. Economics and Statistical Service: 24 posts. Age: 18-36 posts. Pay Scale: Rs. 18,030- 43,630. Qualification: Applicants should have a Post Graduate Degree in any one of the Subjects of
Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Pure Mathematics with Pure Economics, Applied Economics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
3.Written test consists of objective multiple choice type questions in two papers. Total marks for the written test is 450. Following are details of papers:
a) Paper-1: General Studies - 150 questions - 150 marks - 150 minutes
b) Paper-2: Concerned Subject (One only) (Mathematics OR Statistics OR Economics OR Computer Science): 150 questions - 150 marks - 300 minutes.
4.Application fee is Rs. 100 and written examination fee is Rs. 120. Examination fee will be exempted for certain categories of candidates. But all the candidates must pay application processing fee of Rs. 100. Fee should be paid in the form of downloaded challan at AP Online Centers or branches of SBI. The Written Examination will be conducted at Hyderabad on 17-06-2012. Candidates can download hall tickets or admit cards from www.apspsc.gov.in .
