A.Assistant Engineers in A.P. Public Health and Municipal Engineering Sub- Service: 59 posts. Age: 18 - 36 years. Pay Scale: Rs. 15,280- 40,510. Qualifications: Candidates should have any one of these qualifications: A Degree in B.E. Civil or Mechanical Engineering. OR B.Sc. (Engineering) of BHU, Varanasi, OR A pass in section ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the AMIE (India) Civil Examination OR LCE Diploma or any its equivalent recognized Diploma OR LME., Diploma OR LSE, Diploma awarded by the SBTET (State Board of Technical Education and Training).
B.Municipal Assistant Engineers (Electrical) in A.P. Municipal Engineering Sub-Service: 35 posts. Age: 18-36 years. Pay Scale: Rs. 15,280 - 40,510. Qualification: Degree in B.E., (Electrical) OR LEE or its equivalent qualifications.Preference will be given to candidates with Degree in Engineering.
c.Municipal Assistant Engineers (Civil) in A.P. Municipal Engineering Subordinate Service: 151 posts. Age: 18-36 years as on 01-07-2011. Pay scale: Rs. 15,280- 40,510. Qualification: Degree in B.E., (Civil) OR LSE or LCE. 10 percent of vacancies in the posts of Municipal Assistant Engineers (Civil) will be filled in by the candidates with LME qualifications.
Scheme of Written Exam (Objective Type Questions):
1) Paper 1: General Studies - 150 Marks - 150 Questions - 150 Minutes
2) Paper 2 Subject: Civil / Mechanical (common) OR Electrical Engineering (Diploma Standard): 150 Marks - 150 Questions - 150 Minutes.
