Staff selection commission (SSC) has announced the notification for recruitment of Junior Engineers who pass the examination on all India level examination known as Junior Engineer 2012 (SSC - JEE 2012) JEE 2012 will be. held nationwide on April 8, 2012 for recruitment to the post of engineer Junior in Civil, Electrical Engineering from the CPWD and the Department of Posts, mes, and government agencies, CWC, India's choice of candidates. based on performance in written examination and interview. Posts in Central Public Works Department (CPWD):

1) Junior Engineers (Civil): 192 vacancies. Qualification: Applicants should have Diploma or Degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2) Junior Engineers (Electrical): 186 vacancies. Qualification: Candidates should have Diploma or Degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Posts in CWC (Central Water Commission):

1) Junior Engineers (Civil): 82 vacancies. Qualification: Candidates need Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
2) Junior Engineers (Mechanical): 23 vacancies. Qualification: Applicants should have Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Posts in MES (Military Engineering Service):

1) Junior Engineers (Civil): 155 vacancies. Qualification: Applicants should have Degree in Civil Engineering OR need three years diploma in Civil Engineering or two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.

2) Junior Engineers (Electrical / Mechanical): 91 vacancies. Qualification: Candidates should have Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and need two years relevant experience.

3) Junior Engineers (Quantity Surveying and Contracts): 13 vacancies. Qualification: Applicants should have 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering OR passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Div. II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

The selection will be based on Examination which will comprise of a Written Examination followed by an Interview. Application fee is Rs. 100. No fee for women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH and Ex- Servicemen candidates. Fee should be paid in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only. These are available at all Departmental Post Offices of the country. Written test will be for 50 marks and interview carries a maximum of 100 marks.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can apply online of offline. Online applications will be acceptable through SSC website at ssc.nic.in . Candidates those applied offline should send applications to the Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission as indicated in the notification. Examination will be held at Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Allahabad, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Raipur and Chandigarh. Results of JEE 2012 written examination will be published on Employment News and ssc.nic.in .

1) Last date for submissions of online applications: 08-02-2012
2) Last date for submission of offline applications: 10-02-2012
3) Date of Written Examination: 08-04-2012.
