AP Constables Transport Department Online Application 2011-12:December 2011: Government of Andhra Pradesh in the Constables of the Department of Transportation is gearing up to fill the gaps. There are 214 spaces in the section. Recruitment notification by the end of December 2011 or January 2012, the most likely to be announced. Eligibility for these posts in the 10th class / SSC in the pass. Selection of candidates for the written test, physical tests and medical examination will be based on performance.

The APPSC is most likely to take up the recruitment responsibilities of Constables in Transport Department. This is going to be another recruitment notification of Constables after Excise Constables Posts. The initial screening will consist of verification of certificates and later physical efficiency test. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) involves running race, high jump, long jump, shot-put etc.

Those qualified in physical examination will be called for written test. Written test will consist of objective type essay type questions.
