Sports Authority of India (SAI), New Delhi Jr. Scientific Officers and Junior Scientific Officer posts in the various fields are invited to apply. Selected candidates across the country to New Delhi and several regional centers / sub-centers will be designated in the sports science and medical workers. Vacancies in the fields of psychology, medicine, Biochemistry, Food and Nutrition, Biomechanics, Medical Anthropology, and sports are available. Vacancies, eligibility and application process details are as follows:
1) Junior Scientific Officer: 19 posts (psychology - 2, Medical - 4, biochemistry, -2, -2, Food and Nutrition, Biomechanics -3, Anthropmetry -2, -4 Sports Medicine). Salary: Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade pay Rs. 5400, must be under 35 years of age. Status and Eligibility: Applicants MA / Master 's degree must be at least 60 percent marks in the concerned subject. It should have at least 2 years work experience in their research or teaching. Ph.D. degree in the relevant subjects / other higher qualifications are desirable.
2) Junior Scientific Assistant: 05 posts (psychology, -2, -2 Physiology, Biomechanics -1) Salary: Rs 5200-20200 PB -1 plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800, must be below 25 years of age. Status and Eligibility: Applicants B.Sc. Must be at least 60 percent marks in the concerned subject / BA.
