Pragathi Gramin Bank (PGB) Bellary, Karnataka issued recruitment notification 2011 for the posts of Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale-III), Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale-II) Cadre and Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The Pragathi Gramin Bank is sponsored by Canara Bank. Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written test and interviews. Following are details of vacancies, eligibility and application procedure:
1) Office Assistants (Multipurpose): 64 posts; Educational Qualification: Applicants should have Bachelor Degree in any discipline; Proficiency in Kannada language is an essential requirement and candidates should have knowledge of Computer skills.
2) Officer Middle Management Scale-II: 19 posts; Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. Candidates with Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Horticulture, Forestry, Marketing, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Management, Law, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Economics and Accountancy will be preferred. Candidates should have at least two years experience as an officer in any Bank or Financial Institution.
3) Officer Middle Management Scale-III: 3 posts: Qualification: Applicants should have Degree in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks. Candidates with Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Horticulture, Information Technology, Management, Banking, Finance, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Law, Economics and Accountancy will be preferred. Candidates should also need at least 5 years experience.
4) Officer Middle Management Scale-II (IT): 13 posts; Qualification: Candidates should have Degree in Electronics / Information Technology / Communication / Computer Science with minimum 50 percent marks. Candidates with Certificate in C++, Java, ASP, PHP, VB, VC, OCP etc. and one year experience are preferable.
