Bharathiar University Project Fellows, Project Assistants for DST- PURSE Programme 2011

Bharathiar University (BU), Coimbatore chemistry, physics, mathematics, life sciences and in engineering work on the project, the Fellows of various projects / project assistants, it was announced that the notification for recruitment. Science departments in the nature of the project under the DST-PURSE program management and data collection instrument that will work. Following the various components / elements and spaces in the details of the application process are:

A) Project Fellows: 1. Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Biotechnology or equivalent
2. Microbial biotechnology: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Biotechnology or equivalent
3. Chemistry: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG Chemistry
4. Computer applications: 1 (OC); Qualification: MCA or M.Sc., Computer Science
5. Computer Science: 1 (OC); Qualification: MCA or M.Sc., Computer Science
6. Information Technology: 1 (OC); Qualification: MCA or M.Sc., Computer Science
7. Bioinformatics: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Life Science, M. Sc Computer Science, Bioinformatics
8. Botany: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Life Sciences
9. Environmental Sciences: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Chemistry and Life Sciences
10. Zoology: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Life Sciences
11. Mathematics: 1 (OC); Eligibility: Math
12. Applied Mathematics: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics
13. Statistics: 1 (OC); Eligibility: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics in the PG
14. Nanoscience and Technology: 1 (OC); Eligibility: PG in Nanoscience and Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology

B) A device for data collection and management and project assistants: 

1. Inductively coupled plasma - mass spectroscopy (Environmental Sciences Division): 2 (OC-1, SCA-1); Qualification: M. Sc. Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, icp-MS in Life Sciences with knowledge

2. M. Sc:; Qualification 2 (OC-1, SCA-1): Field emission electron microscopy (Nanoscience and Technology Department) scanning. Nanoscience and Technology, Physics or Chemistry in microscopy and in knowledge.

3. The single crystal X-ray diffractometer (Physics Department): 2 (OC-1, SCA-1); Qualification: M. Sc. diffraction in the subjective experiences in physics.

4. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer (Chemistry Department): 2 (OC-1, SCA-1); Qualification: M. Sc. Chemistry with a basic knowledge of NMR.

5. MALDI-TOF (Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering -1; Microbial Biotechnology -1); Qualification: M. Sc. MALDITOF with basic knowledge in the biotechnology or life sciences.

6. High Performance Computers (Department of Mathematics): 1 (OC); Qualification: M. Sc. Related experience in networking and experience in mathematics.

Fellows pay for the project and project assistants, two of Rs.8000 / per month (Consolidated) is located. The positions of all of the above project is a temporary three-year period and 31 in March, 2014 to be implemented.
